Travel Necessities This Fall

Traveling lately has been undeniably different. With the holidays coming up I’m sure those of us who have to travel to be with family are a little weary of what’s in store, or even those of us who are just ready for a little vacay this fall after a long quarantine.

As a flight attendant who has had to fly some during this pandemic I want to show you what are my new necessities! (And of course some things I always love pandemic or not).

Enjoy!

Silk facemask

Sounds dramatic, yes. But on a 4+ hour flight you’re gonna want something comfortable like this.

Kleenex Wet Wipes

I know what you’re thinking, no duh of course wet wipes. Let me tell you though, I’ve tried all the wet wipes out there the past few months working and these are the best. Way softer and gentler on your skin. So worth seeking out.

Portable Thermometer

If you’ve got a lot of traveling to do I recommend one of these bad boys. Flight attendants for certain airlines are actually required to have a thermometer with them when they travel nowadays. Having one that goes with your phone, for someone like me with no health knowledge, is definitively a win.

Phone/Laptop/iPad Wipes

Don’t Google what germs and frightening things live on your devices. You don’t want to go down that rabbit hole. It’s a dark place. Just buy these and save yourself the agony.

Spray Hand Sanitizer

Because what would traveling nowadays be without it. This type is the perfect size and if you lose it after one time traveling you won’t be heartbroken. Another plus TSA size!

Reusable Black Face Masks

Another type of face mask because that’s where we’re at in 2020. These masks are cheap and great reusable masks. They come in a pack and look so much better than the blue reusable masks! I have a stack of these sitting by my door and in my bag, always.

Reusable Water Bottle

I NEVER travel without a reusable water bottle. As someone who just had to start going through normal security, and not flight crew security, I can tell you it is important to make sure the bottles empty when you venture through security. Water bottles you buy in the airport are way overpriced, and the ones they give you on the plane are tiny! There’s so many water fountains in the airport, you’ll have no trouble finding a spot to fill up.

Hope you find something that’ll make your travels this fall/winter a little easier! For more things I never travel without checkout my Style Around the World Page!
